As a Senior Developer at Social Web Factory, you will engage in product development to develop game-changing, globally distributed Web 2.0 products. These products involve myriad technologies, complex algorithms and the latest application paradigms such as AJAX,  JavaScript libraries like YUI, Jquery, MooTools, Script.aculo.us etc:

You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of a project, including strategy, vision, design, UX, coding, architecture, deployment etc, and will be chiefly expected to deliver clean, testable and well-designed code for the same.

You have the makings of an ace developer – impressive problem solving skills, sharp reasoning and a logical bent. You are passionate about programming and delivering, clean, test-covered, well-designed, scalable code.

You have a good grasp on programming fundamentals including OOPs, Design Patterns, algorithms, data structures, networking etc. You are not rigid with respect to choice of technology, are relatively platform agnostic, and open to adopting the right technology for the task at hand. You have exceptional oral/written communication skills and a basic sense of business.

You are innately curious, and take time out to keep up with industry trends and practices. You can deliver good software at a rapid pace.

Responsibility:

Your Responsibilities would involve:

* Working in a LAMP environment to create and debug our web application in PHP
* Writing efficient SQL queries
* Implementing a web service using REST fundamentals
* Using AJAX to implement certain features

Experience:

* 2+ years experience in software development as a web programmer
* Possess strong programming and problem solving skills
* Knowledge of one or more of the following: PHP,MYSQL,HTML,Javascript,SOAP,AJAX,REST

Skills:

Pre-requisites:-
HTML/CSS,PHP MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, DOM.
Hands On Experience in Javascript Frameworks (MooTools, jQuery, script.aculo.us, yui, etc)
Hands On Experience in PHP Frameworks (cakePHP, CodeIgniter, Zend, etc)
Knowledge of CMS systems like (Joomla, Drupal, etc)

Bonus Points:

* Active Blogger
* Contributed to open source projects.
* Made applications for FaceBook, Orkut, MySpace, Twitter etc:
* Education:

At least an engineering/B.Sc.IT graduate
